2014 Michigan Men's Track & Field Roster

Men's track and field coach Jerry Clayton announced that Alex Gibby, the cross country coach and long distance mentor, will not return to the Wolverine program next season after four years at U-M.

Mason Ferlic placed fourth in the 3,000-meter steeplechase (8:39.84) to score six points for Michigan and earn All-America first team honors.

On the second day of the NCAA Outdoor Championships, Mason Ferlic finished third in heat two of the 3,000-meter steeplechase (8:49.20) to clinch one of five automatic-qualifying spots in Saturday's final.

Derek Sievers earned All-America second team honors in the shot put (16th, 18.77m), while Morsi Rayyan placed 18th in the 10,000m (30:17.87) on the first day of the NCAA Outdoor Championships.
