Representing the Maroon & Gold are Second Team honorees Derek Wiebke and Madeline Strandemo and Third Team selections Temi Ogunrinde and Kiley Sabin.

Minnesota was one of 15 NCAA Division I women's programs honored by the USTFCCCA in this year's Program of the Year standings.

Representing the Maroon & Gold are Temi Ogunrinde, Kiley Sabin, Lindsey Smits, Madeline Strandemo, Derek Wiebke and Alec Basten. All six are now eligible for Google Cloud Academic All-America honors next month.

Madeline Strandemo enters this week's Big Ten Championship as the B1G defending champion in the 3,000m steeplechase.

The Gopher women's track & field and cross country program received several awards at the annual Golden Goldys this week.

Both programs were among the best in the Big Ten with the women pacing the conference with a 3.60 grade point average as a team and the men ranking second in the league at 3.43.

Registration is now open for the 2018 Minnesota Track & Field and Cross Country youth camps on July 15-19, 2018.
